This image was taken in 1903. At this time, it had closed as the Power House for East Aurora. About 1910, sadly, this entire original structure was taken down. But the Stone foundation at the creek bank that housed the large water wheel still remains.

Most of this view is what we get to enjoy everyday ~ only BETTER... When it closed as a Power House / Water Mill, the sides of the dam were broken down to stop the pooling above. The result? Magnificent water falls where our resident Great Blue Heron, families of geese, a snapping turtle, a hard-working beaver and deer remind us of the importance of our natural world.

Our Back Gardens and Patio
We LOVE the color purple, so rarely found in nature... so that is our planting focus. so peaceful and relaxing. The butterflies love it too!
