One of six bathrooms designed and renovated by Urban Design. The vanity was URBAN CRAFTED using wood reclaimed from the original interior walls of this c. 1823 building.
42 North Brewing Company
Perhaps the best working experience EVER! The 42 North tap room design and buildout was a true collaboration with our favorite local craftsmen, Mark Hadley and Jay Metzger... with the added bonus of working for INSPIRING visionaries

The Mahoney -Fairmont, Buffalo NY
With most of the design for The Money Great American Eatery already in place by the talented L2K Designs, we (Urban Design) were thrilled to join in and help complete the bar and other details! The Fairmont Creamery was recently (and authentically) renovated by Ellicott Development. Solid 716 on the Bar Top!!

Once a Blacksmith shop for shoeing horses (c.1880's), this great old building had fallen victim to series of 'bad ideas'. We gutted this building to the original old studs and stared over with a complete renovation ~ Reinstalling old windows and barn doors discovered behind the walls, reconnecting the exterior to its charmed past and infusing an air of modernism.
We like to have a little fun too!
We like to make sure our clients personality come through in the 'details'... we had some FUN in this powder room creating a simply charming chandelier and whimsical mirror using everything from old jewelry and watches, artists paint tubes and brushes... even found a place for a couple $1,000,000 bills!!!
STONED!!!!! in Grand Island....
Following an inspired trip to the Madeira Island where small rocks were stacked on walls everywhere... we created a feature wall in basement buildout. Im not sure how many 'thousands' of little black pebble stones we individually set on this wall ~ we only know that the result was organically STUNNING! We also created an URBAN CRAFTED dark walnut console table with lucite support panels / base to allow the stones to shine through! LOVE this wall!
Cozy Dining Room UpDate...
Ahhhh... what the color we now call 'URBAN GRAY' won't do!! A small dining room transformed in two days with some fresh paint, furniture from the Urban Design Store and two URBAN CRAFTED chandeliers made from Napa Valley wine barrel staves.
